JAMES LEIGHTON: 11/16" A fantastic 9 with a "pin point pontel" in FINE condition with 3 small flea bites a couple of micro pin pricks and very fine surface wear when viewed under a glass. (appraised at $250) $220

JAMES LEIGHTON TRANSITIONAL: 3/4+" A hard to find yellow on white in VERY GOOD condition with 2 1/8" chiped areas (which do not detract from the visual) a few pin pricks. The pontel area had an "as made" "blow hole" where the pontal is. The hole has sharp edges and it is hard to tell if this is all as made when it blew out, or, if it was struck directly on the blow hole and chipped. (appraised at $225) $175

A VERY RARE M.F. CHRISTENSEN "HORIZONTAL SLAG" TRANSITIONAL, or a JAMES LEIGHTON: The prevaling opinion is that it is a purple horizontal. VERY GOOD condition with one chip (at the pontal) 3 flea bites, a few pin pricks and light overall surface wear when viewed under a glass. (appraised as a horizontal slag transitional at $500 - $700) $500 - any opinions are welcome on this one
