Originally from Houston, Texas, Rachel has been living
in the Bay Area for five years now. She recently
graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute with a
BFA in Photography. When she is not working she is
either volunteering in the arts or teaching
communites, or photographing.
My work is about reminance, the things that are left
behind. Looking at what has just happened and making
up stories and predicitons. It is a fun little mind
game to play with yourself, trying to figure out what
just went on, why things are where they are. It is
not only about what is left but also how things are
left, it is about how a mess or a situation becomes beautiful.
