Max Landphere Associates Rock Poster Retrospective
This poster was used as a direct mail piece along with an invitation to the event. The retrospective exhibition featured a broad spectrum of the best rock posters from the psychedellic 60's. Highlighting the exhibit was the attendence of Victor Moscoso and Alton Kelley, who mixed with the crowd and discussed one of the most colorful social and artistic periods of recent times. Hanging over the exhibit was a huge display module made up of fifteen mounted posters.
The poster was printed in only two passes through the press, but maximizes the color effect by using two "split fountains".
