[ DEF SOUL ] New York City native, Case, got his start writing for and performing with acts such as Al B. Sure, Christopher Williams, Usher, Jodeci, David Hollister, Horace Brown, and LADAE. Influenced by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Charlie Wilson, and Marvin Gaye, he blends together soulful lyrics with heart-throbbing R&B tracks. He burst onto the scene with his debut single, "Touch Me, Tease Me" featuring Foxy Brown, from the Nutty Professor soundtrack. His self-titled debut album did well. Case's latest project, Personal Conversation, is destined to make an impact on R&B as well. The first single from the new album, "Happily Ever After," is one of the hottest songs out right now.
