[ 550 MUSIC GROUP ] A native of Washington D.C., Ginuwine says he knew what he wanted to do the night he saw Michael Jackson on the "Motown 25" television special. Born Elgin Lumpkins, he re-named himself Ginuwine because he says, "I'm real." His debut album, Ginuwine the Bachelor, achieved platinum stature. His second album, 100% Ginuwine features the smash hit, "What's so Different." In February, he rocked a sold out crowd at the KMEL Valentine's House of Soul. No doubt, Ginuwine always leaves his fans, "so anxious" for more.
