Kelly Price

[ ISLAND BLACK MUSIC ] Born in Jamaica, Queens, Kelly Price started singing at her local church when she was just a little girl. She would go on to work with some of the biggest names in the music business. For four years, she worked in the studio and on stage, singing for Mariah Carey. Other names include Puff Daddy, The Isley Brothers, Notorious B.I.G., Brandy, SWV, Mona Lisa, 112, Brian McKnight, R. Kelly, Jesse Powell, Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Mase, Lil' Kim, Elton John, and many more. With the help of some of her friends, she released her first solo project, Soul of a Woman, featuring the emotional "Friend of Mine." Earlier this year, Kelly had audiences at the sold out KMEL Valentine's House of Soul and the KMEL Universal Woman's Expo singing along. Kelly Price is also a composer, writer, producer, clothing designer (BIG MAMAWEAR), model, wife, and mother.
