[ RCA ] While growing up in Watts, a section of South Central, Los Angeles, Tyrese made music his escape. He began his singing career at the age of 14 doing a number of local talent shows and events. Tyrese is an artist of many faces. He's a songwriter, musician, actor and model. Tyrese gained worldwide exposure in the dramatic Coca Cola television commercial in which he boards a bus wearing headphones and sits down and sings. Currently, he can be seen heating up T.V. sets everywhere on MTV Jams. His self-titled album has already gone platinum.
