The Assignment: To create something unusual that would relate to the consumer on a personal level and express the joy of games and game developer Phil Shoptaugh. The Solution: The identity is taken form an ancient drawing and modified to make it more contemporary and more easily reproduced. The logotype accompanying the logo is a more stylized version of Phil's signature. The signature is seen throughout the program and often accompanies a photo of Phil and his personal statement to game players. The overall ID program is warm and personal. The Application: Primary application is to game packaging, product support materials and communications. |
