Central to this piece is a spectacular
piece of "Parrott glass" which I was lucky to obtain. Cropping and cutting it to size was very risky and I was very
relieved when the third cut was completed successfully. On the bottom panel of found brass are three unusual
surface elements; one of which resembles a face or primitive mask. I have had this odd artifact for many years.
Other surface materials include the copper "door-kick" panel, a section of factory grade "tread grip" steel and perforated aluminum. Additional
surface elements include copper "slugs" from the Devenchenzi Metal Works and 3 round acrylic pieces approx. 1" high
The mosaic consists of several very unique types of opalescent glass tiles including those of multi-colored "confetti" glass.
