The Exhibit | Workshop Projects | Workshop Photos |Oblisk | Promotion "Imagination" Exhibit - Aug 5-30, 09 @ the de Young Museum The month of August spent in the de Young's Kimball Gallery during the King Tutenkhamun Exhitition was remarkable in every way. The weather which had turned San Francisco cold and gloomy - became sunny, the installation went flawlessly with my two professional art installers and helpers, and the exhibit was met with great enthusiasm. The artist's reception on August 21st was packed - the size of the crowd ( of course ) surging with the presentation of food!.
Enjoying beautiful weather I would walk to the gallery through the park from the Arboritum.
One of three projections at the entrance to the gallery.
The video projections added depth and interest to the overall presentation. Two side projections were detail images from one of the pieces in my "Signs of Life - Urban Debris" series.
The four panel Fast Pass installation shown with just the track lights on.
Works from my "Inner World" series - sparkle like jewels with only the track lights on. Right - I meet and thank one of my Muni supporters, Paul who volunteers at the de Young.
