"New Visions" Pro Arts Gallery - August 28 - October 24, 2008 I always enjoy the yearly New Visions show. It's a jurried exhibition and there is always a wide variety of artistic styles and subject matter. This year's show was curated by Lucinda Barnes and Karen Tsujimoto of the Oakland Museum. My accepted piece is titled "I Would Give My Heart If Only..." and is from my series which which I call the Inner Journey. Most of the series is fashioned out of crushed or hand manipulated and shaped aluminum cans.
